AI on the phone — transparent from the first second

Callers should know who they are talking to. Loomira implements the EU AI Act’s transparency duties (Art. 50) — on by default, as a fixed part of every call.

AI announcement at call start

The assistant identifies itself as an AI at the start of every call — as Art. 50 (1) of the AI Act requires from 2 August 2026. The announcement is on by default. It can only be switched off with an explicit, logged attestation of how you ensure disclosure instead.

A human, whenever wanted

Callers can request human handling at any time. The business remains reachable through its usual channels — the assistant takes the request and passes it on.

No audio recording by default

Call audio is not stored by default — speech is processed transiently in real time. Optional recording ships switched off; whoever turns it on informs callers. Transcripts are anonymised after 30 days.

What Art. 50 requires

Art. 50 (1) of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 obliges providers of AI systems that interact with people to design them so that those people are informed clearly, at the latest at the first interaction. For phone assistants that means: a spoken AI announcement at the start of the call.

EU processing, documented

All processing runs in the EU — from speech recognition to the language model. Details, sub-processors and the privacy policy are publicly available.

Transparency is part of the product
